The
LG KE850, also known as the
LG Prada,
is a touchscreen mobile phone made by LG Electronics. It is a little known fact, the Prada is the world's first total touchscreen device. Several tech sites speculated LG would engage Apple upon the announcement of the iPhone due to the somewhat likeness of their interface GUI comparing it to the Prada. However considering LG is an OEM for specific technology on a small amount of Apple devices, it makes sense for LG to not engage Apple. It was first announced on December 12, 2006.

. An official press release showing an image of the device appeared on January 18, 2007.
It was the first mobile phone with a capacitive touchscreen. LG Prada sold 1 million units
in the first 18 months.
